Glenn Sasagawa

Biography

Glenn Sasagawa has worked at IGPP since 1997. Currently he is an Associate Project Scientist. He received a bachelor's degree in physics from Harvey Mudd College in 1983, and a PhD in physics from the University of California San Diego in 1989. Glenn Sasagawa worked for the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) from 1990-1997. During this time, he participated in the design and development of the FG5 absolute gravimeter, as well as the installation and operation of a superconducting gravimeter. His research activities also include observational programs in Canada, Alaska, and California. Current instrumentation activities include seismometer calibration systems, marine gravimeters and remotely operated vehicles.
